Be inspired...live in appreciation

You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.

– Jane Goodall

Should you live in appreciation? Or gratitude? What’s the difference?

Based on the vibrational frequency of the different words, it's more important than you realize.

Expressing “gratitude” actually has a lower vibrational frequency than "appreciation." That’s because the expression of what we're grateful for often includes an acknowledgement of what we're not.

With thoughts like: “I’m grateful for my new job because my old boss was horrible;” or “I’m grateful for my new car because the old one was always breaking down,” there is an energetic link between the grateful feeling and the suffering. That lowers its vibrational frequency.

The state of “appreciation” has a higher frequency.

In fact, love and appreciation share the same vibrational essence or frequency.

But whether you call it appreciation or gratitude, or thanks, awe, reverence or joy – whatever works – you want to source from this state.

Here’s why:

The Physical Body

Gratitude and appreciation can help strengthen your immune system, lower blood pressure, reduce symptoms of illness, and make aches and pains less noticeable. They also inspire you to exercise more and take better care of your body. Those who are grateful sleep better and longer and feel more refreshed in the morning.

Relationships

Appreciation and gratitude can help you feel closer and more connected to those who are important in your life. By helping you recognize the support you have, it makes it easier to trust and create stronger bonds.

Gratitude also promotes forgiveness. (My free 2-part video masterclass, Finding Freedom, delves more deeply into this.)

Your Brain

Practicing gratitude or appreciation helps rewire your brain to accept the benefits gratitude has to offer. Your life becomes a celebration of the present.

Grateful people are more helpful, altruistic and compassionate. And gratitude helps inspire others to “pay it forward.” Just witnessing an act of gratitude inspires others to want to help and connect.

Your state of appreciation could start a ripple effect that will transform the world.

The Emotional Body

Research has shown that practicing gratitude or appreciation can increase happiness and satisfaction. And those feelings of optimism, joy, pleasure and enthusiasm can reduce anxiety and depression. Gratitude and appreciation also strengthen you resilience, making it easier to bounce back when life takes an unexpected turn.

The Soul…Spirit

The vibrational frequency of appreciation connects you to your soul… and spirit. As you hold a state of appreciation, the molecules in your body begin to vibrate with increasing speed, and lower frequency thoughts will rise to meet the higher frequency. (That's the principal of resonance.) As the atoms speed up, you are able to reach higher dimensions of consciousness (think light, sound, the matrix of creation).

You become closer to spirit.

Connecting to these higher dimensions allows you clear access to the wisdom and guidance of your guides, your power animals, your angels. The connection is easier and more conscious. You have a direct link into source.

You step into the flow of source …living in this state of appreciation…connected to the sacred.

I hope you are inspired to live in that state of appreciation….in the flow connected to source! So…how do the Q'ero shaman of Peru, the descendants of the Inka, live a life so connected to the sacred? What is their secret?

I share that secret here: WATCH THE VIDEO

In my next post, I’ll share some simple, how-to practices for living in a state of appreciation.

Until then, you can begin to transform your life – and the world – by Saying… Praying... Living… Being… thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU….
