What is the weather like?

Our October and December trips take place during the Spring and Summer in the Southern Hemisphere. Located at sea level, Trujillo has a balanced, mild climate throughout the year.

Average daytime highs during our trip are expected to in the low-to-mid 70s Fahrenheit. The climate is coastal desert valley, warm and humid, cooled by the wind. Evenings are often much cooler.

Electric supply in Peru is 220 volts AC, 60Hz. Twin flat blade (as used in the US) and twin round pin plugs (as used in Europe) are both standard here.

For cellular service, we recommend contacting your mobile provider prior to the trip for plans for international data roaming, texting, phone calls, and emails to avoid unexpected service fees.

No. Not at all. This journey is suitable for participants of all levels of physical fitness.

It does not include any hiking, climbing or other strenous activities, although we start our days early and several of the ceremonies do go quite late into the evenings.

All day trips are optional, and individual participants often choose to stay and relax at the lodge during the days.

Absolutely not. This is a spiritual journey that your soul calls you to.

An open heart and mind, and willingness to excel, learn, and grow on your path are all that’s required.

The food is amazingly fresh, beautiful, clean, and nutritious.
