And breathe...
“It is a question of the right silence in the mind and the right openness to the Word that is trying to express itself - for the Word is there, already formed in those inner planes where all artistic forms take birth.” ~ Sri Aurobindo In these changing, often complex times, each of us is being asked to learn to hold a different perception of the world. If we each saw a better version of the world what would you notice? Becoming a visionary - someone able to hold that larger v

Holding a larger vision
“There is almost a sensual longing for communion with others who have a large vision.” ~ Pierre Teilhard de Chardin My first deep dive into opening my vision came many, many years ago... through a Jose Silva course. It was an intensive jump into learning. We learned how to sense energetic information, how to trust your intuition, how to work with guides and more. We even applied what we were learning for healing physical issues in others. Looking back now, that course absolut

Find tremendous courage and stay awake!
Last week’s new moon was an opportunity to plant a seed that you are enough, just the way you are. This is a massive seed of transformation. When we’re young, we adopt a certain “way” to be loved. Then we want others to be a certain way - parents, siblings, or friends. We want to fit in and fear (code) that we’re not enough. This old coding is like a gigantic elephant of emotions under the rug. According to research, most of our coded thought is not held in the consciousness.

It's never too late to have a functional childhood
Earlier this month I shared that most of your coding is unconscious and came in when you were little. You created the belief that you’re “not enough”. These unconscious beliefs became an elephant under the rug. The first step is to be awake and have the courage to see through your heart. The full moon last week was a way to connect with spirit, see the elephant exactly as it was - be the owner of your feelings, accept all the gifts with gratitude, then merge back with the un

Connecting down is the key
This is the fourth and last sharing in our month of connection. We started with Connection to Self, because your physical body is the sacred vessel to access the divine. Then we learned about Connection to Others, which is the single biggest indicator of your happiness. Last week we danced with Connection to Spirit. You absolutely want to keep clearing the old limiting stories. Each time you re-remember you connect deeper, become more awake and “one” with Spirit. This week is

An easier way to clear negative self talk
Last month I asked a group of students from my Sacred Intuition course what they thought the world needed most. Compassion, kindness, understanding, forgiveness (to name just a few), but there was one theme that stood out again and again because it embodies all - connection. Over the next month, I’ll be sharing about connection to self, to others, to spirit, and to the earth. Plus, each week there will be exercises, practices, and ceremonies you can implement immediately. We

Sharing a connected moment
Last week I shared how connection is key to what the world needs right now. Keep reading for exercises, practices, and ceremonies you can implement immediately. In case you missed last week’s sharing we started with Connection to Self, because your physical body is the sacred vessel you use to connect to the divine. We also covered that your thoughts must be sacred. Every thought creates a vibration that either lifts you up, holds you at neutral or pushes you down. Remember,

This week we dance
This month is all about connection. We started with Connection to Self, because your physical body is the sacred vessel to access the divine. Shamans know that what you focus on is fully your choice, and with your thoughts and beliefs, you create the world. Last week was about Connection to Others. As humans, we are designed to be in relationships. So much so that when you connect to others your brain releases oxytocin (the feel-good hormone). This week we dance with Connect

Dreaming as a spiritual journey
I started studying dream work more 30 years ago – long before I discovered shamanism. And the more I learned, the more I experienced the incredible connection dreaming shares with a spiritual path – for a whole variety of reasons, both scientific and energetic. In fact, dreaming is at the core of shamanic practice. Shamans are dreamers, grounded in the physical body and with the earth, who know that the soul speaks through dreams. Dreamtime is not only where we sleep; it is t

What is calling you forward?
The new year is only a breath away. It traditionally represents an ending, a letting go of the old . . . the completion of a calendar cycle. Although we often don’t want to look “back,” taking a brief glimpse over your shoulder and honoring and celebrating, allows you to tune in to what calls you forward. This glance back, the shaman's way, is very conscious. Here are a few prompts as you think about this last year: • What were your 3 biggest wins? They may be personal or

You've got to follow your passion
You’ve got to follow your passion. You’ve got to figure out what it is you love, who you really are. And have the courage to do that. I believe that the only courage anybody ever needs is the courage to follow your own dreams. – Oprah Winfrey I’ve been a practicing shaman for more than 20 years. I’ve trained thousands of students in shamanic healing techniques, and I'm passionate about sharing those tools and practices with others. I recently shared that it was a dream – m
