What is the fear story that lives in your family?

My dad was a college professor who taught classes with cool titles like "Planet Earth" and "Paranormal Psychology." He wrote books and lectured on world peace. An amazing mentor and guide.

And… he had a lot of end-of-the-world fear.

When I was really little, he built a bomb shelter in our backyard. A real, actual bomb shelter! We would play on the shelves that held rice, wheat, water and survival things. Seriously.

And the fear showed up in other ways too. Dad installed seatbelts in every seat of our station wagon... at least 5 years before they were required. Yup, I grew up thinking the car would not start until you buckled up.

He had trouble smelling, and compensated by installing mammoth fire alarms and sprinkler systems throughout the house – years before household smoke detectors were required. I grew up always prepared and knowing exactly what I’d take with me and which window I’d exit through.

Should I even share that I have a tsunami bag prepared, just like you're supposed to, and hanging off the end of my bed?… just in case. I do live in tsunami zone, so at least I have an excuse.

Your genetic fear coding may be less or more than mine… but it is coded in.

The genetic fear coding – and the ways we’ve found to work with it – is unique for each of us. And it’s more than just genetic… it is cultural and global right now as well.

So, yes, pack your tsunami bag or your earthquake kit, and of course wash your hands. But it's your inner safety that's really critical right now, and it's the most important choice you have to make.

If you look at the world through the genetic/global conditioning lens of fear – you'll see fear. Of course, be smart, be safe and be prepared, but source from a reality of abundance, gentleness, joy, ease and peace. The world will shower you with those qualities in return. You know this.

That's why the SheHEALS Summit is so important.

Choose to step away from the fear. Turn off the news for awhile and instead immerse yourself in the gifts each Summit presenter is giving away, for you… their wisdom, skills and practices.

This is their service… and it is free.

The world needs you to energetically hold another version of reality.

Yes, wash you hands, use soap, buy toilet paper and be absolutely safe.

This is your soul’s invitation to be equally prepared with your inner work.

Energetically, this is our time… to be of service by holding and reflecting out a new structure of love. (More on that in my next post.)

I look forward to seeing you there.

With love, Linda
