A Change is in the Air

What’s your word for 2020?

I’ve heard deep, heavy, clean up, aware, wake up, transformation, disruptive, metamorphosis, unprecedented, hard, tragic and exhausting, just to name a few.

Astrologer Brenda Brush shared her reading for 2021 last week and what she had to say was fascinating. You can listen to the full reading here.

And if you’re sensitive to energy, I think you’ll love what she had to say.

Yes, we still have some clean-up to do – imagine the tsunami of 2020 has swept through and is gone, but there’s work to be done with what’s been left in its wake.

No doubt things have shown up that need your internal attention.

On Monday, December 21 – the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, and Summer in the south – Saturn and Jupiter join in Aquarius to begin the new Aquarian Age. This age has been evolving and phasing in… but now it is here, fully… for the next 2,000 years. Wow!

It is the time of connecting to your inner power, inner wisdom, energetic learning, recognizing we are all one and celebrating our differences.

It is the shaman’s time…the time to soar.

Don’t wait until the end of the year for your transition ceremony – the change is here now!

So honor and mark the solstice with a celebration, big or small, with friends or by yourself. Here's a simple ceremony you can do on you own or share with your loved ones.

  • Make a list of everything that happened for you in 2020. Write it down. There may be some bad, some unexpectedly good, and some ugly. And that’s okay. Write it all down.

  • Do a fire – in a fire pit, with a candle, in a turkey baking pan… whatever you can.  Allow it all to go up in smoke to spirit. Holding with gratitude for what is.

  • Once 2020 is in ashes and has gone to source, open your heart and listen to the wind, the air, the birds, the song of life, the breath of the earth. Hold a new myth for the world, knowing you can create at source. What beautiful planet are you creating?

  • Then say those qualities, adjectives, images out loud.  Say them LOUDLY –  let the air to carry them, source them, share them.

  • Put a stick into the fire with deepest gratitude – thank you, thank you, thank you.

Wishing you the sweetest solstice. May the winds of change lift your dreams and carry you to places you never thought possible.

I can't wait to see what unfolds.
