Find tremendous courage and stay awake!

Last week’s new moon was an opportunity to plant a seed that you are enough, just the way you are. This is a massive seed of transformation.

When we’re young, we adopt a certain “way” to be loved. Then we want others to be a certain way - parents, siblings, or friends. We want to fit in and fear (code) that we’re not enough. This old coding is like a gigantic elephant of emotions under the rug.

According to research, most of our coded thought is not held in the consciousness. It lives in the subconscious which is the storehouse of past emotions, old habitual thoughts, and ancient beliefs. This ancient mind is in charge 95% of the time. It has a fast processor so those buried emotions are quickly translated to your senses and you unconsciously resonate with the old story (proving you are still not enough).

It takes tremendous courage to stay awake and see the subconscious ancient story. It takes incredible strength not to flinch, look away, justify, judge, criticize, explain, distract yourself, or blame another. These ancient stories run down family lines, through our cultures, and within our global story. It takes the greatest courage just to be present, see and allow the story to unfold.

What if life isn’t about getting what you want...or pushing away what you don’t want?

You have worked hard to create a beautiful life; but the elephant still requires us to unconsciously push away what we don’t want or grasp for what we do want. Or, even worse, it won’t allow us to accept that we are enough.

The first step is to be awake to what is. Be in your heart since there is no heavy energy (hucha) there. Spiritual traditions say if you can be in perfect Ayni (or right relationship with what is), then it will shift on its own.

Shaman’s practice this by stepping into ceremony with praise and honoring. You connect with spirit, see the elephant exactly as it is - own your feelings, accept all the gifts with gratitude, then merge back with the universe and surrender to spirit, transforming the old way you perceived the story of not being enough.

Open your heart and release into the flow. Love wants to do the work.
