Have you ever acted like a 3 year old?

I just wrapped up my Mastermind Week! It was a small group of dedicated “trackers” helping each other become the best versions of themselves by sharing their wisdom and insight. I was able to witness the growth, progress, and skill development. Truly an amazing experience...

Many of the members could sense or see a specific age when something happened that was blocking progress.

Have you witnessed someone have a reaction that seems way out of proportion to the issue? This might show up as “They were acting like a 3-year-old," or “What they said makes sense if they were 10."

When we have something happen as a child that creates an energetic imprint we default back to that age when triggered – with those 3-year-old beliefs and feelings – which often block our progress until cleared.

Whenever you have a trigger activated (you are swamped with emotions of fear, shame or rebellion) ask yourself:

1. How old am I now?

2. How old is this upset part of me?

Sometimes just recognizing the feelings will allow the healing to happen.

The key is to invite the inner dialogue, accept this younger you, and love them up. You can invite that 3-year-old to come sit on your lap and find out what she needs, or let that rebellious one know you appreciate his ability and courage and show him the rest of the picture.

You may need a trained facilitator but know you can also use your shamanic skills to bring in resources to re-imprint.Neurolinguistic Programming has a beautiful timeline process; I’m adding the shamanic twist.

1. Use some sacred objects to lay out your life from childhood until now. It is always nice to anchor in the “present” by blowing into this sacred object something you love like a pet, child, your home or significant other.

2. If you know the age you were at the imprint, step off the timeline and walk back as observer until that age. If you don’t know the age, it is easy – just think of the feeling (fear, shame) and blow it into a sacred object and walk backwards down the timeline until you find the first time you felt it, then leave the object on the line and step off to observer.

3. Now you add the shamanic resources; what did that little you need at that time? Maybe a power animal, or ancestor, or angel.... or light or love. You can use your mind’s eye to add these or even blow into more sacred objects and add the energetic support to them and place them on the line.

4. Want to do more? You can do a clearing for the little you with a saminchakuy or bring in any other players like parents or teachers who may have been part of the imprint and shamanically give those individuals resources they needed or do a clearing.

5. When if feels like the little you has all the resources they need, then step into their shoes (with all the resources present) and allow them to sense and feel and respond differently. Then walk forward up your timeline re-imprinting all the past situations with this clearing and cleaning. Step off the line anytime needed to add more shamanic or energetic resources.

6. Once you are back to “now” make sure you feel those resources going out into your future. You may even imagine a situation where you’d normally get triggered and feel how with these shamanic resources you will be different and make different choices. Always complete the ceremony by coming back to the now and thinking of those you love and how they love you.

7. With deep gratitude retrieve your sacred objects – you can put them into an altar or use or put away as you’d desire.

I’d love to hear how your re-imprinting the shaman’s way or clearing goes, know if you’d like assistance or it feels much more in depth or is an older ancestor pattern you can book a private session through my website and I’d love to have you join a mastermind group next year.
